Christian C. Couyoumdjian was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina; diagnosed with spina bifida, he has been physically disabled since birth.
He started traveling at an early age with his family and as a young man developed a taste for it, visiting Europe, USA and South America on his own, facing all sorts of issues related to getting around in a world that is not always handicap-friendly. Today, in his mid-thirties, Christian continues to cruise the world as an adaptive athlete.
